my story

Amy graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College with a Masters in Acupuncture. She focused on Sports Acupuncture and worked at CU Boulder treating Division 1 athletes. She also studied under master Tuina practitioner, Dr. Li Lu DAOM and Kototama Inochi Medicine Master, Dr. Ted Hall. She continues post-grad studies of the Kototama Medicine under Dr. Ted Hall and incorporates Japanese needling, moxa & bodywork into all of her acupuncture treatments.

Outside the clinic, Amy is an active outdoor enthusiast with a love of nature. Her interests including hiking with her family, xc skiing & snowboarding, SUP'in and cycling. Her long standing passion of healthy food keeps her cooking and maintaining a summer mountain garden. Amy has been a nutritionist for over 20 years, graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in Clinical Nutrition. Her career began in hospitals, but her passion for nutrition education & wellness moved her to teaching outpatient community programs. She has taught health & wellness courses, and facilitated workplace wellness programs all over the Vail Valley. She currently works one-on-one with nutrition clients & incorporates diet therapy into her acupuncture treatments.

Amy knows first hand how valuable time is and creates a customized treatment plan to get you feeling better in as few of treatments a possible.

I strongly believe in the capacity of the human mind, body & spirit to heal itself when given proper support, and to work productively with many adverse health circumstances. I am dedicated to helping people reach their full potential, by providing the support to improve their life.

core beliefs

Medicine of the future will interest patients in the care of the physical frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.

I believe in medicine that addresses root causes & not symptom management.

Mental health is inseparable from physical health. They are intertwined on a cellular level and directly relate to physical symptoms.

Your health is in your hands. Finding the right resources and support is vital to receiving the care you need.
